Professional Development Workshop for Educators 

Remembering the Ladies:

Material Culture and the Women of the American Revolution

November 3, 2022

10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Join Museum Curator Jessica Bush and Dr. Lucia McMahon and Nancy Norris-Bauer of William Paterson University for a full day immersive learning experience dedicated to the women of the American Revolution. Educators will gain new insights into the multifaceted role that women played during this time in history and discover how the use of material culture as a primary source can strengthen historical inquiry in the classroom.

 *A certificate of attendance for 5 Professional Development hours will be given *

Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided to participants at no charge.

Our Educator Tour Ticket grants individuals one free admission to tour the Dey Mansion and to speak with our staff about the different types of programs we offer.
