Dey Mansion heads to Little Falls Public Library

Tuesday, June 20th / 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

The Dey Mansion derives it lasting fame as one of General George Washington’s military field headquarters. During the American Revolution, owner, Thenuis Dey served as Colonel of the Bergen County Militia, which brought him into constant communication with Washington. The presentation will cover the stories surrounding Washington’s stay in the Preakness Valley through various artifacts from the Mansion’s military and early American collections.
